A FEW THINGS
Hey Friends!! I forgot a few things that I wanted to post.
My goal of walking 60 miles from Nov, 1-7th got done. It’s interesting how that happened and what it has done to my body.
It changed my walking experience. The first four day I went, 8.4, 14.7, 10.4, and 9.7 miles. The next three days I cut my milage back quit a bit. That was not part of my plan. I was thinking after the first two days of waking I could maybe hit 75 miles by my 60th birthday.
That was not possible. I cannot tell you how sore and painful my lower back, butt and legs began to be. To be honest they have not gotten much better. My body will start feeling better and I am grateful that I got that done!
The last two days I have taken shorter more relaxing walks. Those are what I truly enjoy. Walked in a light rain this morning and that is always a beautiful start to a day.
Had a first time experience Nov. 7th. I was late to my MRI and because of that, I did not get an MRI. The MRI and Dr visit got rescheduled for,,,,,, Dec. 5th and Dec. 7th, this also never happens. I normally get the MRI and then an hour or less meet with the Dr.
Do you ever have different experiences that can possibly teach you something?
I honestly believe there are many experiences, most days that can teach us something. Many of the life challenges or changes can be very frustrating. Many would ask, “God where are you?” I believe He is always present. Present because we live in a world that, He is needed!! Needed most days, maybe every day! It is easy to forget that reality.
Have a great weekend. Hoping my Sooners can start winning again! It may be about time to shift to my basketball team and start wearing my “Kansas Jayhawks” hat!!
Always remember,,,,, “You are Loved and of Great Value”……….
